The Iridian Dagger

There's a war beyond our sight, and James Carson has just stumbled onto the front lines...

James has had questions ever since his father was killed on a classified mission two years ago. But no one will tell James the truth. Who was his dad running from? Why were they after him? Most importantly, what mission was so dire that it cost him his life? But every time James attempts to find out, he's denied answers, including by his very secretive mother. Nothing is adding up. But when Emily Carson goes missing, and two complete strangers show up at James' door to give him the news, he's exposed to a world he never knew existed. A world of angels and demons. Fluents and Shadows. And two secret societies, The Light Keepers and Samyaza's Pride, that are currently at war over The Iridian Dagger—a weapon of legend that could change the course of history and bring about the destruction of souls.

In the midst of a spiritual battlefield, James has a feeling the truth about his father is the link that ties all these mysteries together. But with his mother missing, and the dagger in the hands of a very dangerous enemy, time is running out.
