SOMETHING BEYOND OUR WILDEST FEARS...
A leak at GCHQ – the UK’s version of the NSA – means that sensitive Allied and Israeli intelligence is being fed to Iran and Israel’s wider enemies. ODIN, the Five Eyes’ ultra-secret Special Operations Office, has teamed up their best operative, Alex Mason, with the Mossad’s Captain Aila Gallin to investigate and plug the leak.
There’s just one problem…
Their prime suspect has been assassinated. Was he killed by the very people he was selling information to? Or had he stumbled on the source of the leaks and was about to blow the whistle? In either case the method of the killing was bizarre, and the fact that his cell phone and his computer were wiped clean, even of their operating systems, within minutes of his death speaks to a level of sophistication well beyond the means of Hamas or Iran.
Nero, the genius at the head of ODIN fears they are facing one of two things: a Chinese attempt to provoke a Third World War in the Middle East which would spell the end of Israel.
Or then again, it might be something even more terrifying than that.
