Freedom's Fury

Some part of me thought being murdered in front of my mate was rock bottom.
It was the delusional part.

Because I didn’t stay dead.
Instead, I woke up tethered to my psychotic ex who still insists we’re soul mates.
I insist he seek immediate medical attention.

To top things off, my actual mate will stop at nothing to get me back – even if it costs him everything.
It’s a good thing I don’t have anxiety issues, or this might be terrible for my mental health. (Sarcasm).

My captors think they can control me, but they have no idea how far I’ll go to keep my loved ones safe.
After all, it’s amazing how many options open up when you have nothing left to lose.

He wanted to carve me into his perfect, obedient wife.
Instead, he cut away the last threads of my sanity.
And I’ve never been more dangerous.
