The First City

The First City’s shadow darkens the fragile wilderness.

With the revelation of his lineage fresh in his mind, Bastian leaves for the city of the Dark King, intent on finding his birth parents. There, he finds the ruler keenly interested in Bastian’s status as a prophetic savior.

When the remainder of the Kindred Few come after him, Mari finds the secrets the First City holds are much more dangerous than she’d ever imagined, threatening to tear her apart from Bastian.

But in the grime of the city’s dungeons, a new tale emerges: a story of hope for those lost to the Dark King’s cruel magical mutilations. His Miscreations still hold a glimpse of humanity.

And the Kindred Few intend to rewrite the ending of the Dark King’s story... by using his own army against him.
