When she sees a human sinking into the depths of the sea, and rescues him she has no idea it will change her world forever. He makes her feel things she never thought possible. Her soul tells her to stay with him, and for the first time in her life she listens.

Together, Meria and Dominick begin a journey across the Misted Seas, an area lost to humanity since before the Great War–a place where monsters and magic are prolific and no human has ever made it out alive.
