My best friend is a traitor.

With war coming, we’re trying to stop it. But my best friend, once an enemy of my people, ha now become a traitor to his own. They’ve arrested him for treason and sentenced him to death.

I can’t let that happen.

Saving him will come at a cost. Now, a small group of us are on the run—from both my people and his. The prince I brought back to my people filed me when I needed him the most, but now, he’s leading us back to his home with the humans, offering protection we desperately need.

As we flee, mistakes are made, and trust is tested. I’m abandoning everything I’ve been taught in a desperate bid for peace, hoping to prevent Earth from revolting against the greed of both sides.
