I was supposed to be driving home from a kids' hospital event, still dressed in my elf costume, when my car broke down in the middle of nowhere. One wrong step, and bam—I’m sucked into a portal and wake up in a snow-covered forest. Not Arizona, that’s for sure.
Oh, and the guy who saves me? Definitely not Santa. He’s an orc. A grumpy, towering, muscle-bound orc named Sinteklas who looks like he’d rather face a blizzard than deal with me. But he’s stuck with me now because I’m not going anywhere until I figure out how to get home—or at least celebrate Christmas.
I didn’t plan on dragging an entire orc clan into the holiday spirit, or on Sinteklas helping me find the perfect tree. And I definitely didn’t plan on falling for him. But the more I’m around him, the less I want to leave. Could this grinchy orc really be my Christmas miracle?
