Which is a problem when I'm in a race against time in a test he set. If my team and I don't solve the puzzles scattered around Crashland by the deadline, our alien overlords will annihilate every human on the planet. I need to focus on that, not on the judge’s amazing alien abs or what I want him to do with his tongue!

But Skywarden Darakar is huge, muscled all over, and dangerously attractive. I can't keep my eyes off him when we're together, or my mind off him when we're apart. The only consolation I have is that he's just as distracted by me.

And now someone is sabotaging the test. Darakar wants our trial to be fair, and I want to survive, so for now we’re on the same side. But the more time we spend in each other's company, the harder it is to keep our hands off each other.
