Trial by Fire

Only the best work with the best.

Felicia Price, the youngest graduate from the Sacian Space Corp Academy, is thrust into the elite training program under the mentorship of Lieutenant Ace Shepherd, the most decorated pilot on Sacia.

But Ace carries the weight of a tragic past, haunted by the loss of his wife. The mystery of Felicia’s origin and her uncanny resemblance to Ace’s wife takes a back seat when disaster strikes and 3,000 civilians come up missing.

Now Ace must set aside his feelings and prepare his trainee for the fight of her life.

Good grades and high scores mean nothing when facing the horrors of war. Can Felicia survive the fiery trials that lie ahead? Can Ace put aside the guilt of his wife’s death and find redemption? And will they find the missing civilians before it’s too late?
