Maligned in Meadow Wood

My boyfriend’s brother is facing murder charges… How the heck did that happen?

My Goldendoodle Rosie and I were doing just fine in peaceful Meadow Wood, Colorado. That is, until the stormy day a hitman mistook my attorney boyfriend Derek’s brother for his target. Now Derek’s big brother Daniel is facing murder charges, and the only witness is in a coma.

A dangerous militia group is stirring up trouble, and other outside forces are threatening Meadow Wood's future. Then there’s Frankie Lupone, a mobster from Meadow Wood's past who seems to be behind it all... or is he a smokescreen for something even darker?

I’m doing everything I can to connect the dots and uncover the truth. Every lead seems to bring me closer to danger as I race to save Daniel, myself and my community before it's too late.

With danger nipping at my heels, I must reveal the mastermind behind it all... before time runs out and I end up sleeping with the fishes.
