Ferocious Beasts

Midnight at Bainbridge Manor. A terrible tragedy unfolds and three generations of a family lie dead within the ancient house. The local police immediately surmise from the crime scene that it’s a murder-suicide. But village detective Carl Jones thinks otherwise and begins looking into the only surviving member of the family: son and heir Will Bainbridge.

Jack Sheridan is sent to help the limited local police finish up. Thinking it to be nothing more than a week or two in the countryside, he travels down to Somerset in relaxed mood. Except what he finds in the village of Helm is anything but relaxing, and Jack is swiftly caught in the maelstrom of the place’s dark history.

Dragging behind him his own set of personal problems, Jack must get to the truth of the killing before his own troubles devour him first.
