In an effort to have a say in my life, I might have fallen for the surly doctor.

Everything has changed, and I hate it. Since we’re staying at the space station for a while, I’m going to follow my dreams: become an engineer. Except on my second day of this, I screwed up bad. Evidently, humans can’t see certain color differences. Now, I’m stuck with the grumpy doctor.

We’re stuck in the medbay with a malfunctioning translator. I tease him occasionally and I might be developing feelings for the green hunk of an alien.

Maybe, somehow, I can take more control of my life ‘cause the doctor holds the mating records. He can delete me off and I can make my own choices in life.
