Under the excitement of the turf flying there is deadly intent. When power and money are on the line, the stakes can’t get any higher
Lady Sarah has never been to the races before, and her first trip takes her to Cheltenham Racecourse. But when she arrives, it is clear that not all is well in the parade ring. With a missing jockey and an owner’s entire future hanging in the balance, the clever noblewoman cannot sit idly by.
When the jockey turns up dead and accusations start to fly, a stewards enquiry is deemed to be insufficient. But if no races are run, it means the end for more than one owner and trainer. Lady Sarah must track down the killer before the police can arrive and save the day once more.
Can she survive her first day at the race or will the stakes prove to high for her?
