So our raid on the Sinners failed, Sam is at the end of a rope, and Alastair has taken me and Bentley hostage. It should be a bad day. The worst, even.

But my “worst day” already happened.

To that end, while not mandatory, Sinners of Cyanide is best read as book 4, after the events of the main trilogy, for readers to have full context.
