Hockey is even hotter when the home team has green skin, tusks, and a mission to find human brides – willing human brides, because kidnapping wenches from a village is a thing of the past.

When it was time for Ozar to seek a wife, he decided to follow the time honored tradition of selecting a bride from among the humans, but the world has changed in the last few centuries. Kidnapping and pillage isn’t as easy as it once was. Now an orc in search of a wife needs to establish gainful employment, and learn things like how to operate a coffee machine.

Luckily the first is taken care of, even if he has no idea what this “hockey” job entails. Now all Ozar needs to do is find a female willing to marry an orc so he can get the heck out of this confusing city and go back home.

Jordan has given up on relationships, content to find joy with her friends, her family, and in her career. After the disastrous first game of the new hockey team, she comes across one of the players wiggling a loose tusk, and jumps in to assist with the dental emergency. But her interest in Ozar extends far beyond his teeth, and Jordan quickly finds herself falling for the orc.

Can a dentist and a hockey-playing orc find their happily ever after, even if their plans for the future head in opposite directions?
