I am the evil that destroys worlds. And yet I would die to protect her…

Our last quest lies before us, and we now run the final race against the forces of darkness. We dare to try to waken a dead god, but my heart misgives me.

The shade of the long-dead druid we summoned spoke one word that blazes in my memory. Sacrifice. What did he mean? My companions and I might die by the hand of our enemies. This we know, and risk. Yet I think he meant more.

If so, I fear it is my daughter who will pay the price. But I am Drom, and I am ready. I reck nothing even of gods, and I will save her no matter what it takes…
