Every two years, a woman was to be given as a “prize.” That was the deal humans had made with the inhabitants of that planet.
Every two years, a woman's life was the price to pay for the well-being of her people.
And that year, she turned out to be the chosen one.

Evelyn hated her life. Her father ignored her, her stepmother despised her, and she couldn't find her place in the village. But what she never imagined was that her situation could get even worse. However, that is what happened when she was chosen as the next prize to be delivered to the fearsome orcs.
Every two years... the “prize” would be delivered regardless of whether the woman cooperated or not.
And when the day came when her “master” entered her life... nothing would ever be the same.
