My name is Delaney Stone: pharmacist, pilot, mineral enthusiast, and proud owner of an emotional support pig who seems increasingly convinced I’m the one meant to be supporting him.

I used to think nearly dying in an ancient Roman tunnel was the scariest thing that could ever happen to me, but I was wrong. I’m about to face my most terrifying adventure yet: Meeting my boyfriend’s family.

Unfortunately, surviving dinner is only the beginning. Ever since my latest mineral discovery, touching certain ancient artifacts has started triggering visions so vivid, they blur the line between hallucination and reality. Worse still, they're cracking the very scientific foundation I’ve built my entire career upon.

Yet here I am dragging Heath to the frozen wilderness of Siberia to investigate them (and prove to myself I’m not crazy). There, whispers of an impossible blue mineral and a long-lost Hunnic secret have lured archaeologists, treasure hunters, and legend-chasers to the most treacherous corner of the globe.

Naturally, I intend to beat them all there.*

*Assuming I’m not actually hallucinating.
