Sands of Vengeance

With a bank account overflowing with strange alien currency, Jace is finally ready to turn the Aetherwing into the ship of his dreams: new tech, upgraded systems, and enough firepower to make sure nobody ever corners him again.

But a nearby distress call cuts those plans short. The captain can’t ignore it, not when it turns out to be connected to his long-gone parents. What should have been a simple detour becomes something else entirely: a trail of breadcrumbs leading straight into a trap.

When the dust settles, Jace is marooned on a desert planet with a battered ship, dwindling supplies, and an unwanted companion: a fearsome alien soldier who seems to know everything about Jace and his history, and insists he’s his sworn enemy.

As Jace uncovers more about his cosmic heritage – including some mortifying revelations – he realizes survival is only half the fight.
