Phantom Soup
This prose text message style writing adheres to dark surrealism and absurdist elements, aiming to create a psychedelic effect on the mind. Commercials deceptively try to distract us; however, the age of Kali Yuga disrupts the planned schemes in each story. In this world, a political criminal cult holds our minds hostage, while megalomaniacs prepare clones for a mission to Mars. Yet, to move forward in space exploration, we must relinquish materialism and self-centeredness. The reader sees Earth from the viewpoint of a human product trying to escape a commercial system. In the meantime, users become commodities within an AI program accessed through a theurgy app. A Zen Buddhist poet breaches the program code with an allegorical skeleton as a warning about the dangers of rigid doctrines. Will future generations interpret John Coltrane’s music as a passage to other dimensions? Physicists on Earth are pondering deeply while listening to old records
