L. D. Lewis

L. D. Lewis

L. D. Lewis (she/her) is an editor, Locus and Hugo Award-winning project manager, and Shirley Jackson award-nominated writer of speculative fiction. She is a co-founder of FIYAH Literary Magazine, creator of the Ignyte Awards, and former researcher for the LeVar Burton Reads podcast. Published works include novellas The Dead Withheld duology (Neon Hemlock) and A Ruin of Shadows (Dancing Star Press), and her short fiction includes appearances in a number of online publications, Neon Hemlock anthologies, and Jordan Peele’s Out There Screaming. Kai Ashanti Wilson once called her "unusually kind and full of good sense", which was pretty neat. She currently pays the bills as a literary nonprofit administrator. She lives in Georgia on perpetual deadline with her partner, two cats, and an impressive LEGO build collection.
