The Faceless Woman: A Swan Princess Retelling (The Otherworld #3) by Emma Hamm
Unrated

Once upon a time…

A town will only suffer the presence of a witch for as long as she is useful. Aisling watches the flames lick her thighs and prays for a quick death. But when an Unseelie prince appears through the smoke, she does what any self respecting witch would do. She curses him.

Bran should never have traveled to the human realm, and is shocked when a witch binds them together. His life is hers and he refuses to die. He saves her from the fires, casts a hex on the townsfolk for good measure, then whisks her away to safety. His only stipulation? She has to remove the binding curse.

Unfortunately for them both, she can’t. Witch and Unseelie must travel across the Otherworld to break the ties that bind them. Secrets and lies stand between them, but both will stop at nothing to save themselves.

Emma Hamm

Emma Hamm

Emma Hamm is a storyteller whose fantasy worlds feel as ancient as the myths they’re drawn from. Her writing, deeply woven with elements of romance, magic, and mythology, has found a dedicated following, earning her a place among readers who crave complex characters and emotional depth.

Born with a natural love for stories, Emma grew up in a small town where she often found herself lost in the worlds of books, surrounded by nature and fueled by a deep curiosity about the unknown. Whether it was playing with mythical creatures in her imagination or diving into the folklore that intrigued her, it was clear early on that Emma’s creative path would lead her to writing.

Her debut, Heart of the Fae, brought her immediate recognition, offering readers a fresh take on "Beauty and the Beast" through the lens of Irish mythology. This novel, which explores love and sacrifice set against a backdrop of magic, curses, and fae royalty, captivated fans with its rich world-building and the intense, evolving relationships between its characters. But Emma’s writing isn’t just about romance—it’s about exploring how power, destiny, and personal strength shape the lives of her heroes and heroines.

Beyond Heart of the Fae, Emma has penned a series of novels, including The Gravesinger Series and The Dragon of Umbra, each of which showcases her talent for crafting lush, atmospheric worlds where danger and desire intertwine. Her characters are fierce, multidimensional women who find their voices amidst the chaos of their worlds, and it’s this empowerment that resonates deeply with her readers.

When she’s not crafting her next adventure, Emma enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family, always drawing inspiration from the world around her. Her books aren’t just stories; they’re windows into magical realms that offer readers both escape and a deeper connection to their own journeys.

With each new book, Emma Hamm continues to invite readers into worlds of wonder and danger, all while reminding us of the strength within us all.
