The Black Eagle

England, 1193

Will Bowman has finally returned home to England to claim both land and title as reward for his noble service in the name of the crown.

Arriving in Northumberland as the new baron of Scyldemoor, Will finds a half-ruined castle on a windswept hilltop, which he must now turn into a thriving fortress to protect his people from the ever-present threat of Scots marauders led by the fearsome Red Douglas.

But as Will is fighting to establish his new domain for the good of all, the reappearance of a vengeful enemy from his past threatens to destroy everything.

The stage is set. The lines are drawn. Can Will and his comrades survive, or is this to be their last stand?
