Lethal Pursuit

Two dead men. A woman on the run. And a stranger with the skills to keep her alive.

Ex-CIA operative Kyle Payne is enjoying a quiet camping trip in Big Bend National Park. The last thing he expects is a blood-soaked archaeologist stumbling out of a canyon begging for help.

Jessica Cruz just watched her colleague being gunned down by professional snipers—and she caught the whole thing on video, including the face of a man who was not supposed to be there.

That footage has made her the most hunted person in America. It’s evidence of a conspiracy that reaches into the very agencies sworn to protect the country. Cartel enforcers and a private army of mercenaries have been sent to erase Jessica and everything she knows.

With nowhere to run and no one to trust, Payne turns to a former agency colleague. Together, they have one mission: keep Jessica alive long enough to expose the truth. But every hour that passes draws them deeper into a war with no rules.

From a desperate firefight at a remote cabin to a siege on a fortified compound, Payne fights to keep one terrified witness alive—and bring down the men who have been hiding in the shadows.

They have the money and the firepower. He has nothing left to lose.
