But when their small charter plane is forced to land on a remote tropical island west of Thailand, they and the other passengers are thrust into a cat-and-mouse game of survival against a master assassin and his cadre of trainees.

With an upcoming international trade delegation set to take place in Myanmar, it soon becomes evident to Perseus and the Critical Response Team that this is about more than just targeting Shepard and Nolan.

Relying on the help of an old friend, mantracker Mitch Kearns, who joins the search, the Critical Response Team will face one of the greatest threats to their existence against an adversary as capable and cunning as themselves.
