The Orpheus Legacy
A deadly relic. A lethal enemy. A fatal countdown.
When a crack team of Congolese and Belgian mercenaries steal an ancient relic with a deadly secret, Hawke and the rest of the ECHO team are offered the task of retrieving the stolen object.
Left reeling from the shock of Faulkner’s takeover of the American Presidency and their new fugitive status, they agree to take on the job for the money they need to rescue Alex Reeve and her father, President Brooke, both imprisoned on Tartarus, a notorious CIA black site.
With their backs up against the wall like never before, events rapidly escalate when they realize the true, terrible meaning behind the theft of the relic. Hunted by the new regime in Washington, with Sir Richard Eden under house arrest and their assets frozen, the team race through Greece, Bulgaria, Hungary, Crete and beyond, fighting with everything they have to complete the mission and clear their names.
In The Orpheus Legacy, Joe Hawke and his team must confront and defeat one of their deadliest enemies if they are to locate Tartarus and rescue their teammates in this supercharged rollercoaster ride of adventure.
