The Babylon Agenda
Ex-soldier and MI6 operative Jed Mason is the ultimate reluctant hero. He is a man who wants nothing more than to leave his old life of killing behind and start over on his Portuguese olive farm, but trouble follows him everywhere like a shadow. Usually big trouble.
Then Boston University's Dr Holly Hope gives him a call and asks for his help. She tells him their mutual friend Wesley Baxter, a private investigator from Los Angeles, was hired by a senator's wife to find her missing husband. Baxter fears the senator might be dead, and after finding a strange golden amulet near what he believes is the murder scene, he and Holly know they need to bring the old team together, including Alicia Kane and even Guy Wilde, if they can find him.
In an epic quest that takes the team from Beverly Hills to the Colorado Rockies, from Washington DC to London, Paris and beyond, Mason and his friends soon realise they are up against a resurrected cabal charged with the solemn duty to keep an ancient and terrible secret hidden from mankind forever. The mission tests Mason and his friends to their limits, and poses a question to should the truth always be told?
