About the Book
It was a radiant and royal match - Matholuch, King of Ireland, and the beautiful Branwen, own sister to Bran, the giant who ruled Britain. And for a glorious year they loved and reigned splendidly in Tara. But then the dark shame that lay behind their marriage was revealed - and, for the sake of his throne and his power, Matholuch cast Branwen into slavery.
For fear of her brother's vengeance, Branwen and her fate were kept hidden - until the day the coast watchers saw the mighty figure of Bran leading his fleete through the shallow seas to Ireland. Then Matholuch sent for Branwen and restored her to honor... but it was too late!
