Release date?

Has anyone heard anything about the release date for book 9? Is he still writing? Maybe he needs a ghost writer to help him out of his funk.

He's currently working on getting out a new series as well as working on gods eye, slowly but surely the books are being written 

I’m sure it will come out as soon as the third book of the The Kingkiller Chronicle gets released.

I feel like it's been 10 years since book 8 ended lol. The Land was revolutionary for me in the world of books, a brand new genre I didn't know could exist. Absolutely can't wait for book 9.

Please don’t say that. The Wise Man's Fear was released the same year as my eldest son was born. He is in high school now and every birthday is a reminder of how long I’ve waited for the The Doors of Stone. :( :( 

Hahaha my heart stopped when I read that and now I'm super sad

It really is a shame. For a few Years I would introduce this series to people who were interested in the genre. I no longer do that with all of the broken promises of book 9 from AK. I now recommend other series and tell people who have an interest to avoid this series for now
