Soul Purpose

Alan Reece is a vet who hates his job. He hates the long hours. He hates the horrible night calls. Most of all, he hates James Herriot for lying to him for all those years, and somehow making it all look like fun. His fiancee has left him, and he fully expects that things will only get worse.

He's right, of course. What he's not expecting is that one of his dreaded nocturnal farm visits will set in motion a complicated series of events involving transparent cows, aliens, zombies, and the end of all life on Earth.

Alan is about to learn that there are some things worse in life than having a job that you hate.
