Zanthodon

One of the many adventures Eric Carstairs has on Zanthodon, the world beneath the Sahara where Cro-magnons share their "Lebensraum" with the much maligned Neanderthal man (who would have given homo sapiens a run for his money, had he survived), where prehistoric beasts roam the land and remnants of lost ancient empires offer a satisfactory storyline.
