Berserker

The Guardians are a world wide secret cabal caught up in a battle for the destiny of the human race. A battle fought between utterly alien beings who have watched humanity since the first civilisations. A battle where science could be our saviour or our nemesis. The Guardians must discover what links a nightmare incident during the Gulf War with an experiment being carried out in the rotting hulk of a power station on the South Coast. But first they must stop one of their number succumbing to a violent madness, protect another from an assault in cyberspace and bring back a third from a hopeless mission in Japan. Scattered across the world and with their loyalties divided it looks like the end for the Guardians.
