Monster Republic

Cameron Reilly had it all: he was good-looking, popular and sporty. But that was before he was blown up by an explosion at a nuclear power plant. Awaking in a strange laboratory, Cameron discovers he's been patched up with scavenged body parts, bionic implants and high-spec computer technology by the eminent Dr Lazarus Fry. The "reborn" Cameron has powers and abilities he doesn't even begin to understand. For Dr Fry is no ordinary scientist... he is building an army of monsters to help him take over the world. Fry's most successful experiments, like Cameron, are destined to swell the ranks of his growing legions; those that don't come up to scratch, the Rejects, are dispatched into the sewers and left to die. Banding together for survival, these outcasts have created their own underground society: the Monster Republic. Rescued from the lab but abandoned by his friends and family, the Monster Republic offers Cameron a refuge and a mission: to use his newfound powers to stop Lazarus Fry at all costs.
