The Asteroid Effect

Why are the great ocean liners of the past visiting the present? The answer may be found in a world beyond belief by a most unlikely explorer: the president of the United States. What he finds as he travels to America’s Colonies astounds him. No other American president has been given the opportunity to announce to a startled world the revelation of a welcome oasis in a newly named galaxy. Not everyone living in America’s Colonies is a content observer though. Unrest awaits in the form of a discontent colonist who has set his sights on the ultimate prize.
