The Mad Scientist's Daughter
This coming of age story set in a near-future Earth combines the
sweetness of Ray Bradbury with the emotional punch of forbidden love.
When an awkward adolecent girl named Cat with a mad scientist father
agrees to be home schooled by the ultra-human android he's developed, a
touching story of desire and innocence shattered ensues. As a young
adult, Finn helps awaken her sexuality, but the forbidden nature of
their love forces Cat to choose a human husband. When the husband proves to be abusive, Cat leaves him and recalls Finn from his exile on the
moon.
