Antares Dawn
Visitor From The Deep Black: When the supergiant star Antares exploded in the year 2512 AD, it blocked the interstellar pathways to the human colony on Alta. For more than a century, the Altans were cut off from the rest of human space. Then in 2637, the star gate was reopened when a battleship suddenly appeared in Alta's sky.
The Altan Space Navy sent Captain Richard Drake to investigate. What he found was a smashed ship with a dead crew. That was alarming news. For the battered battleship carried enough power to destroy the entire Altan fleet. Whoever had defeated it must be more powerful yet. Were they friend or foe?
