Antares Passage

Project Helldiver: After more than a century of isolation, the people of Alta were once again in contact with the rest of humanity. But that reunion, led by Captain Richard Drake of the Altan Space Navy, spelled the end of civilization. The Antares supernova of a century earlier had let an alien race loose in mankind's domain. The Ryall seemed to have but a single goal, a war of extinction against humanity. It was a war they were winning.

The Altans' only hope was to ally themselves with the military power of Earth, and to reach Earth meant that they would have to dive into the heart of a supernova.
