Astral Quest

When the nuclear waste pits on the Moon's dark side had exploded, blowing it out of Earth's orbit, the Moon and its stranded base plunged helplessly through the void. Each day the Alphans fought whatever the universe might throw at them - be it alien attack, wandering asteroids or deceptively welcoming space travellers... like DARIA.

DARIA was a huge and apparently deserted transporter which drifted across the Moon's path emitting an emergency signal that warned of a nuclear explosion. Intrigued, the Alphans decided to investigate, only to discover that the accident had occurred centuries past - and that the survivors were grotesque mutants with a deadly ambition.
