Rattled by the Rush
The Slave State is coming to an end. It won’t be coming back. Larry is a comedian searching for his Shakespearean Dark Lady. During this pursuit Larry must cut across an indifferent Northern California wilderness, acquaint himself with the most violent recesses of his own nightmares until he comes squirting out in the familiar grease-traps of the Slave State. ‘Rattled by the Rush’ concludes the triptych of Slave stories which began with ‘Moosejaw Frontier’ and ‘Transmatic’.
