She reluctantly agrees to visit him in prison. There he begs her to investigate his case to prove his innocence.
He is currently serving a life sentence for a murder he claims he did not commit.
While glossing over his case, Blake notices that there are potential discrepancies in the original investigation.
It seems her friend, the inmate, has been keeping secrets from her.
And as Blake dives deeper into the case, she finds a trail of illicit affairs, abuse, incompetence, and a shocking twist that no one saw coming.
