About the Book
I am his salvation.
He paid my weight in gold. By the customs of the lawless city of Ashgate, I now belong to Timur, a pleasure trader.
Except that Timur is no ordinary fae. He’s turning into something that will kill him possibly even before the transformation is complete. He’s determined to protect me for as long as he lives, but neither of us knows how long that will be.
In this city of crime and death, I’m powerless on my own, but I have something they all want—my joy, which makes every dweller of Ashgate try to steal me.
As Timur’s time is running out, we devise a plan to secure my future for when he’s inevitably gone. But as we grow closer, any future without Timur starts to feel to me as terrible as death.
