Separated as they were transported to a dangerous mythical world, a mother and daughter wield magic, fight against tyranny, and quest to find each other.

It all happened in a flash of light and a burst of sound. One moment, Sloane Reinhart was passing a typical day on Earth with her young daughter, Gwyneth. The next, she was in the fantastical realm of Eona, befriended by elves and orcs, and Gwyn was nowhere to be found. Prior to Sloane’s arrival, humans didn’t exist in Eona, and magic was the stuff of storybooks and legends. Now, traveling with the Knights of Haven’s Hope, Sloane has been established as Lady Reinhart, a noble from a distant world capable of creating objects of magical power. But despite her talents, she’s unable to locate her daughter.

After innocently describing herself as a princess to the band of merchants who discovered her, Gwyn has been brought into high society. Under the protection of elves, she enrolls in the Royal Academy, to be educated in etiquette and politics while her guardians create House Reinhart. A ten-year-old twenty-first century girl, Gwyn has no patience for the pomp and circumstance forced upon her by the ducal court. And as an emotional child who just wants her mom, her uncontrollable pyromancy makes her a considerable threat to the nobility.  

But Sloane and Gwyn aren’t the only humans who’ve suddenly appeared in Eona. People from all over Earth―past, present, and future as well as alternate timelines―continue to arrive. And the rulers of Eona see them as an invading army to be destroyed . . . or weapons to be wielded.
