He stumbles upon a peculiar young woman who just happens to have all the keys he needs to succeed. But he’s been tricked, and by the time Rumpel realizes what’s happened, it might be too late to go back for the beautiful gold-spinning girl.

“A Golden Hope,” a retelling of Rumpelstiltskin, is a standalone novella, complete with tropes like damsel in distress and unknown magic. It is part of the “Hope Ever After” series, a collection of twenty hopeful and uplifting fairy tale retellings.
