A Marriage Forged In Blood

BY THIS COVENANT OF BLOOD, YOU ARE FOREVER BOUND.

To save the man that she loves, Nazira Ryskali travels from the steppes of Kashkana to offer herself as a tether in Saidriath – the home of the Undying. Following a war with demons, a curse was placed upon them. With their power dampened by it, they require a mortal tether to bind their life to and only their tether’s death makes them vulnerable.

Ilir Kuliqi is the heir to the Third House, one of the five ruling families. Facing an unwanted betrothal, he takes the unprecedented step to not only tether his life to Nazira, but take her as his wife, binding them eternally.

Ilir is stretched thin as he commands nightly patrols of the demons’ prison whilst grappling with the unwanted helm of heir following his brother’s brutal murder. With mortals disappearing and demons vying for their freedom, Ilir investigates if they are linked to the murders happening across the realm – and what motives his wife is keeping to herself. As suspicion surrounds Nazira’s entry into Saidriath, Ilir must discover if his wife’s loyalties lie with him or her own agenda.
