A Hornbook for Witches: Poems of Fantasy is a collection of poems by Leah Bodine Drake. Originally released in 1950, this was the author’s first book and her only collection of published poems. With just 553 copies, of which 300 were given to the author, making it a very sort after edition. This edition contains a collection of forty-five macabre themed poems featuring tales of ghosts and goblins, of whimsy and of terror, of witches and warlocks, of legends and curses, of visions and dreams.These poems will satisfy that all too human curiosity about the other side of darkness at the same time that they will afford a kind of entertainment which is becoming increasingly rare in our time.
