James Siegel

James (also known as Jimmy) Siegel is a New York City based advertising phenomenon as well as the writer of a number of popular thriller novels, which have been adapted into several films. Siegel was born in 1954 in the Stuyvesant Town area of Manhattan's East Side and after getting his BA at New York College in 1977 he started at the global ad agency BBDO as a junior copywriter in 1979 (he would rise to become vice chair of the board). During his commercial career he was responsible for a total of seven lucrative Super Bowl Tv commercials. In 2006 Siegel shifted to doing ads for politicians such as Eliot Spitzer (Siegel appears in the Client 9 documentary about that controversial figure), Hillary Clinton and most recently the presidential campaign of Michael Bloomberg.
