Washout
Rachel Hatch only stopped in the Missouri Ozarks for breakfast and a cash withdrawal. Then three armed men turn a small-town bank robbery into a bloodbath.
When two of the gunmen escape aboard a school bus, they take a veteran driver and a twelve-year-old wheelchair user with them. The local police are pinned down by an officer-down hostage crisis, leaving Hatch as the only person who knows the real danger has fled—and the only one close enough to follow.
Her pursuit leads deep into the backcountry as a gathering storm swallows the roads and cuts her off from help. Outnumbered, unarmed, and running out of time, Hatch must outthink a ruthless killer before the hostages disappear for good.
But when the storm washes out the only bridge ahead, the chase becomes a fight for survival.
