Six Days of the Condor
A branch of the CIA has been hit and wiped out. Malcolm, the only survivor, knows that the order came from within the Agency itself. He also knows that the CIA isn't going to be content until there are no survivors.
Unwillingly, Malcolm is propelled into the all-too-real world of double-agents and hired killers. His code name: Condor.
What follows is a chase in the grand style, with the Washington police, the CIA, the FBI, the NSC, and a host of other intelligence agencies tripping over themselves to get at the Condor. Malcolm's goal is to stay one jump ahead of his pursuers until he can figure out which players in this dangerous game are on his side and which ones want him dead. All he has going for him as he tries to sort fact from fiction is a run of beginner's luck and a beguiling accomplice named Wendy.
The Condor's exploits unfold against a detailed and accurate description of the American intelligence community. From the unlikely Department 17 of the CIA to the mysterious 54/12 group that watches the watchers, each turn of the plot reveals a new aspect of the security network that will amaze the reader as it does the Condor.

James Grady
James Grady is a longtime author of thrillers, police procedural and espionage novels. He graduated from the University of Montana School of Journalism in 1974. During college, he worked for United States Senator Lee Metcalf of Montana as an staff member.
From 1974 - 1978 he was an investigative journalist for the famous muckraker Jack Anderson. Best known as the author of Six Days of the Condor , which was adapted to film as Three Days of the Condor starring Robert Redford in 1975.
James Grady has gone on to write almost a dozen more novels in the thirty-eight years since Six Days of the Condor was published.
