Witness Hunt

Propelled by grief and fury, a widower seeks revenge on one of the witnesses at the trial of his wife's killer.

Prosecutor Jessie Black and DA's Office Detective Mark Leary have one chance to stop a good man before he destroys what's left of his life. But first, they need to find him. The trail leads to New York City, where they must find the grieving man before it's too late. But when the killer's associates join the hunt, Jessie fears that none of them may make it out of the city alive.

Note: Witness Hunt is a short story (approximately 35 pages). It takes place between the events of Lethal Innocence and Conviction, but is a self-contained legal thriller that can be read as a standalone.
