We’ve just rolled out a subtle but exciting update here on Risingshadow that we think many of you will appreciate—especially those of you browsing on modern phones, tablets, or high-resolution laptops.
From now on, if you're using a device with a retina or high-DPI display, book cover images on the site will appear much sharper and more detailed by default. This is thanks to a new feature we’ve added behind the scenes that automatically loads higher-quality versions of the images when your device can support them.
You don’t need to do anything to activate it—it just works. For regular screens, nothing changes; images will still load fast and efficiently. But if your screen supports higher pixel density, you’ll now see the crispest possible version of each cover.
It’s a small upgrade, but it makes a big difference when browsing through upcoming releases or checking out your favorite series :)
